The comparison of the Materials Engineering Programme with similar Materials Engineering programme of renowned universities is presented in Table 1.5. It shows majority of the courses of the Materials Engineering programme at IIUM are similar to those universities’ programme.
A trip to University of Malaya (UM) was conducted on 18 July 2017 for benchmarking our programme against UM’s Materials Engineering Programme of Department of Mechanical Engineering, UM.
Overall, Materials Engineering Programme for IIUM exhibits similar breadth and depth when compared to the relevant programmes in other universities with reasonable credit hours of 139.
