Industry Advisory Panel (Matr)

Materials Engineering at IIUM has established an Industry Advisory Panel (IAP) consisting of industry experts who provide strategic advice on our education and research activities and senior academics. Our industry panel members are highly valued for their external industry perspective and their contribution in promoting and strengthening academic-industry collaboration.

These advisors are liaison between the industry and the programme where they can advise on the following industrial related issues:

  1. Integrated design projects (through examining the topics and quality of work as well as the student’s discussion / presentations).
  2. Seminar courses (through examining list of topics & Speakers).
    Engineering Industrial Training (EIT) (examining the EIT annual report prepared by the EIT coordinator).
  3. Advising on the relevant component of the curriculum to suit the requirement of the industries.
  4. Proposing Industrial link in research projects.
  5. Proposing Fellowship visits.
  6. Proposing Research link with related industries.
