Structure & Finance
Earn two internationally recognised degrees — a Bachelor’s from IIUM and a Master’s from MCUT — through a seamlessly structured pathway.
Students in the 3+2 Programme complete three years at IIUM followed by two years at Ming Chi University of Technology (MCUT) in Taiwan, earning an Undergraduate Degree from IIUM and a Master’s Degree from MCUT.
Programme Stages
Students enroll in regular courses at IIUM, completing all credits required for their Bachelor’s Degree. During the 5th and 6th semesters, IIUM selects eligible students to complete any pending credits through an intensive semester mode, preparing them for their academic journey at MCUT.
From September to June, selected students undertake project work required for their IIUM Bachelor’s Degree while simultaneously registering for coursework toward their Master’s requirements at MCUT — advancing toward both degrees concurrently.
Upon successful completion of the one-year exchange — including all project and coursework requirements — students continue their Master’s studies at MCUT, opening doors to advanced career opportunities worldwide.
