All undergraduate students in the Kulliyyah of Engineering are required to undertake a twelve-week Engineering Industrial Training (EIT) as part of their degree requirements. Within the engineering programmes, the EIT is also a mandatory prerequisite for their Final Year Project (Part 2). The Engineering Industrial Training Programme is designed to offer students hands-on exposure in real-world working environments within relevant organisations and industries. This invaluable experience aims to foster and strengthen students’ mental, intellectual, emotional, physical, and social competencies, thoroughly preparing them to face professional challenges in the engineering sector.
Throughout the training, students are exposed to industry standards, practices, and the latest engineering techniques, which enrich their academic learning with practical skills. The EIT experience is a pivotal moment in their academic journey, empowering them to apply theoretical knowledge to practical situations and engage with industry professionals.
