Earn two Bachelor’s degrees — one from IIUM and one from CGU — through a fully structured four-year international pathway.
The Dual-Degree Programme offers students the opportunity to study at both IIUM and Chang Gung University (CGU) in Taiwan, earning a Bachelor’s Degree from each institution upon successful completion.
Programme Stages
Students complete 71 credit hours at IIUM during the first two years. The Engineering Industrial Training (EIT) is also undertaken in Malaysia at the end of Year 3, due to Taiwan’s immigration regulations. In total, 76 credit hours out of the 139 required are completed at IIUM.
Students transfer to CGU to complete the remaining 63 credit hours required for IIUM’s degree, while simultaneously fulfilling CGU’s academic requirements over the two-year period — progressing toward both Bachelor’s degrees concurrently.
