🌟 Takreem Al-Khirrijeen – Celebrating Excellence at the 41st IIUM Convocation

We are delighted to share a proud moment from the 41st IIUM Convocation, where the Takreem Al-Khirrijeen ceremony was held to honour outstanding PhD graduands. This distinguished event symbolizes the culmination of a rigorous academic journey, marked by the ceremonial placing of the doctoral hood by supervisors—a gesture reflecting achievement, perseverance, and scholarly contribution.

Among the honoured graduands was Mudrikah Sofia binti Mahmud (G1919794), from the Materials Engineering programme, who has successfully completed her Doctor of Philosophy (Engineering) under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Farah Diana Mohd Daud.

Her PhD thesis, titled “Development of Cement/RHA-Derived Nano-Silica for CO₂ Regeneration Capture,” represents an important contribution to sustainable materials research and environmental engineering.

The ceremony took place on 3 December 2025 (Wednesday), from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm, at the International Institute of Islamic Thought and Civilization (ISTAC-IIUM), Jalan Duta Campus, Kuala Lumpur.

We extend our warmest congratulations to Dr. Mudrikah Sofia on this remarkable achievement and wish her continued success in her future endeavours. 🎓✨
