Wind engineering is a field that involved mechanical engineering, structural engineering, meteorology, and applied physics that analyzes the effects of wind in the natural and the built environment and studies the possible damage, inconvenience, or benefits that may result from the wind. The research involves in this field is wind impinged structures including high-rise buildings, low-rise buildings, bridges, billboards, etc. The research on this subset can be conducted using the experimental method (Wind Tunnel Test) and numerical method (Computational Fluid Dynamics, Finite Element Method).
