Graduate Research Opportunity in CFD & Nanomaterials – October 2025 Intake

We are inviting applications from highly motivated individuals to join a research project based at IIUM Gombak, commencing in October 2025. The project centers on computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations using ANSYS Fluent, with a focus on enhancing thermal solar collector performance through advanced nanomaterials. This research contributes to the broader goals of photothermal energy development and renewable energy innovation under AMSERU’s initiatives.
This project will be conducted under the supervision of Ir. Ts. Dr. Suazlan bin Mt Aznam, whose work integrates simulation and materials innovation in thermal-fluid systems.
🔍 Eligibility Criteria:
- A Bachelor’s degree (CGPA ≥ 3.00) in Materials, Chemical, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or related fields (e.g., Materials Science, Chemistry).
- Strong interest in thermal sciences, renewable energy, and both computational and experimental research.
- Willingness to pursue a Master’s by Research at IIUM.
