Seminar: Introduction to Ansys Granta Edupack

The Advanced Materials and Surface Engineering Research Unit (AMSERU) and CAD-IT Consultation recently hosted an informative seminar on the “Introduction to Ansys Granta Edupack” on Monday, November 6th, 2023. The event took place from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm in the Main Conference Room of E1 Kuliyyah of Engineering.

The seminar featured distinguished speakers, Dr. Wen Zhao and Mr. Bharat Panjawi, both experts in the field. Dr. Wen Zhao, based in Cambridge, UK, is known for her extensive support of educational and research institutions in Europe and Asia. She holds a PhD in Engineering from the University of Cambridge (UK) and has a significant research background in Type II high-temperature superconductors for magnetic levitations and high-efficiency generators. Her expertise extends to solid-state and sol-gel materials synthesis and characterization. Dr. Zhao’s educational background and experience have also made her an active coordinator for educational projects in universities and research institutes in Europe and Asia.

The seminar provided attendees with a valuable opportunity to delve into the world of Ansys Granta Edupack and its applications in the realm of advanced materials and surface engineering. The insights shared by the speakers, Dr. Wen Zhao and Mr. Bharat Panjawi, were particularly insightful and educational.
