Research Activities at Ataturk University, Turkey by Prof Dr. Md Abdul Maleque During Research Leave in July and August 2023

Welcome to the latest updates on the groundbreaking research endeavors of Professor Dr. Md. Abdul Maleque, a distinguished academic and researcher whose commitment to the pursuit of knowledge knows no bounds. In this section, we delve into the recent research leave undertaken by Prof. Dr. Md Abdul Maleque, encompassing a rich tapestry of academic activities that showcase his unwavering dedication to the advancement of science and engineering.

During his research leave, Prof. Dr. Maleque engaged in an array of activities that encompassed not only laboratory work but also knowledge dissemination and academic contributions. He embarked on an intriguing journey of exploration, where the three key highlights include:

1. Laboratory activity,
2. Writing a technical paper for an indexed journal, and
3. Delivered a seminar at the Faculty of Engineering, Ataturk University.

1. Laboratory Activity

On the first day had a meeting with all team members of our joint research project at Surface Engineering and Tribology lab to conceptualization of the research work that are going to carry out here. Below shows the photo in the surface engineering lab.

2. Writing a technical paper for an indexed journal

During research leave, besides lab works Prof Maleque has written a technical manuscript for an indexed journal based on the joint research works and the manuscript has been finally accepted in ‘Materials Open Research’ journal is an indexed journal, the publisher is Taylor & Francis.

3. Seminar at the Faculty of Engineering, Attaturk University

Prof Maleque also delivered a seminar on 2nd August 2023 at the faculty of Engineering and shared insights on ‘Successful writing and publication of research article’ during attachment with ‘Surface Engineering and Tribology’ research group organized by Muhendislik Fakultesi (Faculty of Engineering), Ataturk University. Around 100 participants including senior faculty members, research fellows/students, PG and UG students from the engineering and other faculty participated which was organized by the Faculty of Engineering ATAUNI. This talk gave insight to the researchers/academicians/students to write healthy research articles and publish them in highly indexed journals.

These are just a glimpse of the remarkable feats accomplished by Prof. Dr. Maleque during his research leave. As we delve deeper into each of these facets, you will witness the profound impact of his work on the world of science and engineering, and his unwavering commitment to the pursuit of knowledge and innovation. Stay tuned for a closer look at the groundbreaking developments in Prof. Dr. Maleque’s research journey.
