Materials Science Laboratory Training Session with Kolej Vokasional Setapak

AMSERU successfully hosted a Materials Science Laboratory Training on 11 April 2025 at the Kulliyyah of Engineering (KOE), International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). The training session welcomed a total of 47 students from Kolej Vokasional Setapak, who were accompanied by four dedicated lecturers from the institution.

This collaborative educational initiative aimed to provide hands-on exposure to fundamental materials science techniques and strengthen the students’ understanding of experimental methods relevant to their field of study. The session also served to bridge academic knowledge with practical laboratory experience, enhancing the participants’ appreciation of the role of materials characterization in engineering applications.

Throughout the session, students were guided through various experimental setups and instrumentation commonly used in materials testing and analysis. The facilitators provided valuable insights and mentorship, fostering an engaging learning environment for all attendees.
