MATR 4399 Final Year Project 2 Presentations – Semester 1, 2024/2025

On 16th January 2025, the Final Year Project 2 (MATR 4399) presentations took place in Conference Room C, showcasing the incredible research efforts of our Year 4 Materials Engineering students. Guided by their supervisors and evaluated by esteemed examiners, including many from the AMSERU research unit, the presentations highlighted the students’ dedication to advancing scientific knowledge and addressing industrial challenges.

This course is designed to train students in conducting rigorous, scientific, quantitative research, equipping them with skills essential for future researchers. These students, many of whom are from the Materials Engineering program, are poised to become key contributors to AMSERU’s mission of driving innovation and excellence. Their passion and hard work today will shape the future of research in our field.

Note to Year 1, Year 2, and Year 3 Students:
You are most welcome to attend future FYP presentations! This is an excellent opportunity to learn and be inspired by your senior peers’ projects. Ask any of your lecturers for details about the next session. Typically, these presentations are held during Week 14 on a Thursday or Friday. We look forward to seeing you there! If you are free, FYP1 Presentation for Semester 1, 2024/2025 will be held (tomorrow) on January 17, 2025 at E3-2-1, E3-2-4, E3-2-3, and E3-2-4 from 9:30 AM until 12 noon.
