AMSERU Members Participation in a Flagship Program at Centre for Foundation Studies (CFS) in Gambang

Assalamualaikum everyone,

We are delighted to share that Dr. Ahmad Zahirani, Dr. Noor Azlina, Dr. Norita and Dr. Afifah of AMSERU recently participated in a meaningful flagship program aimed at introducing the unique strengths of the Department of Manufacturing and Materials Engineering programs to students pursuing Engineering Foundation Studies at the Centre for Foundation Studies (CFS) in Gambang.

This impactful initiative, organized by the Manufacturing Engineering program, provided an excellent platform to engage with CFS students, who will soon transition to their undergraduate studies at the IIUM Gombak Campus. Through interactive booths and exhibitions, the program aimed to inspire these students and showcase the exciting opportunities, cutting-edge research, and promising career prospects offered by the and Manufacturing and Materials Engineering programs.

Our AMSERU representatives took the lead in setting up an engaging booth that featured innovative materials developed by AMSERU members. Their efforts highlighted the expertise, vibrant learning environment, and dynamic potential of our programs.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the CFS management team for their warm welcome and support in hosting our visit, as well as to the Manufacturing Engineering lecturers for inviting us to be part of this impactful initiative. A special thank you also goes to the Engine Society for their kind assistance, which played a key role in the program’s success.

We are excitedly awaiting these bright and talented students to join our programs at IIUM Gombak. Together, we look forward to shaping the next generation of engineers, innovators, and problem-solvers.
