On Saturday, 14 March 2026, a team from the Department of Mechatronics Engineering, IIUM conducted a 3D Printing and I-TACT workshop for teachers at SMK Pendidikan Khas Setapak.The program was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hazlina Md Yusof under the 2025 Social Innovation Research Grant (KPT). Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yasir Mohd Mustafah delivered the session on 3D printing technology, providing intensive training on 3D design and 3D printing to empower teachers with practical digital fabrication skills.Br. Ikmal and Br. Faisal introduced the I-TACT assistive technology initiative for the visually impaired community. The system is designed to help visually impaired students learn and understand tactile graphics independently.Appreciation goes to the IIUM trainers: Dr. Yasir Mohd Mustafah, Dr. Ariff Rashidan, Dr. Aimi Shazwani Ghazali, Dr. Asmarani Ahmad Puzi, Br. Ikmal Hakim, and Br.
