The Programme Educational Objectives (PEOs) based on EAC Manual 2024

The Programme Educational Objectives (PEOs) for the Electrical and Electronics  Engineering programme describe
the accomplishments that graduates are expected to attain within three (3) to five (5) years upon
graduation.

The PEOs are dedicated to preparing the students in achieving advancement in careers at both the
national and international level, for the betterment of society, to be involved in entrepreneurial activities
and to engage in lifelong learning. Therefore, the PEOs become the main platform on which the
Programme Outcomes (POs) and Learning Outcomes (LOs) are structured. The PEOs are as below:

  1. Graduates who advance in career and professional standing nationally or internationally based on
    leadership and/or technical expertise in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or related fields.
  2. Graduates who demonstrate moral and professional commitment for the betterment of society.
  3. Graduates who engage in entrepreneurial activities that apply engineering knowledge and technical
    skills.
  4. Graduates who engage in lifelong learning through postgraduate education and/or continuous
    professional development.

Students graduated from the Kulliyyah of Engineering programmes should have the ability to:

The POs are directly mapped to relevant courses and explicitly mapped to the LOs of the related courses.

Learning Outcomes (COs) are the expected outcomes of each course, and it is what student should be able to do upon the completion of a specific course. Each course has a set of learning outcomes which are explicitly linked to specific POs.

LOs are assessed and evaluated through various measurement/assessment tools. At the end of the measurement, the COs attainment will directly contribute to the achievement of specific POs linked to it.
