Recap of the Event:
Our Green School Module Program took place on October 21, 2023, at Anjung Budi, Sekolah Menengah Setiabudi, in Kuala Lumpur. The event was a resounding success, offering an engaging and educational experience for all the participants.
The program began at 9:00 am with an opening ceremony, which included the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and Doa. This set the stage for a day of hands-on learning and exploration.
From 9:15 am to 11:45 am, participants had the opportunity to engage in various activities. Two workstations were set up for the event:
- Workstation 1 featured a demonstration and theoretical explanation of creating handmade paper from waste.
- Workstation 2 showcased the process of making eco-plastics from starch, with both a demo and theoretical insights.
- The Green Material Exhibition provided participants with a comprehensive understanding of green materials through theoretical explanations, demos, and fun quizzes.
The event concluded with a closing ceremony at 11:45 am, during which we celebrated the participants’ achievements. This included the Prize Giving Ceremony and the distribution of certificates, allowing participants to take home recognition of their efforts. A photo session was also organized, capturing memorable moments from the event.
The timetable for the workstations and exhibition booths ensured that every participant had the opportunity to explore all the activities. We had three groups: Group 1, Group 2, and Group 3, and they rotated through the workstations and exhibition booth according to the schedule provided.
With 22 members of Kelab Innovasi dan Rekacipta and under the guidance of Advisor Cikgu Hazril, the event was a resounding success, offering valuable education and an enjoyable experience. We thank all participants, teachers, and organizers for making this event a memorable one.
