The programme began with a welcoming and doa recitation by Prof. Maizirwan Mel, followed by the screening of the IIUM, Kulliyyah of Engineering and BPMERU corporate video. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Khairul Azami Sidek, Dean of KOE, then delivered his welcoming remarks, highlighting the benefits of pursuing higher education at IIUM, particularly the university’s well-equipped facilities, conducive learning environment, and strong research infrastructure that support both local and international students in achieving academic excellence.
Assoc. Prof. Ir. Dr. Azlin Suhaida followed with a presentation on the postgraduate programmes offered at Kulliyyah of Engineering (KOE) and CHES, highlighting research opportunities, scholarship and academic pathways available to international students. This was followed by a short welcoming address by Prof. Ir. Dr. Saedi Mohammed Jami, Head of CHES. The session later continue with an interactive Q&A session with the visiting students.
The visit concluded with a group photo session, souvenir exchange, and laboratory tours that highlighted CHES’s teaching and research facilities. The programme ended with a discussion on potential academic and research collaborations between UNP and CHES, highlighting mutual interests and opportunities for future engagement.
