University Al-Azhar Indonesia (UAI) and International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) have been carving an intense relationship with one another since the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in 2013 and it also has led to many fruitful implementations until today. As the two universities keep advancing their collaboration to take part in improving the quality of the world’s education as one of the sustainable goals developments (SDGs), UAI has invited Prof. Dr. Maan Al Khatib from the Department of Chemical Engineering and Sustainability, Kulliyyah of Engineering, IIUM as a speaker for their international seminar which is entitled Biotechnology for Sustainable Development.
The purpose of this international seminar is to delve into the advancements and progressions within the field of biotechnology from different countries around the world. This gathering aims to facilitate a comprehensive exploration of the latest research, innovations, and breakthroughs that have shaped and continue to influence the biotechnology landscape on a global scale.
Through insightful discussions, the conference endeavors to foster a deeper understanding of the multifaceted applications and potential implications of biotechnology in various sectors including healthcare, agriculture, industry, and environmental sustainability.
