Bioprocess and Molecular Engineering Research Unit (BPMERU) and the Department of Chemical Engineering and Sustainability (CHES) has organised MoA (Memorandum of Agreement) signing ceremony between the University and Schlumberger Limited (SLB) on 11 January 2023 (Wednesday), in Kulliyyah of Engineering, IIUM Gombak. SLB has donated 40 full bundle of Symmetry Licenses to the department last year. SLB is the world leading oilfield service provider of technology for reservoir characterization, drilling, production, and processing to the oil and gas industry with deep domain knowledge of exploration and production operations as well as comprehensive commitment to technology and innovation.  Our Honourable Rector, Prof. Emeritus Tan Sri Dato’ Dzulkifli Abdul Razak has agreed to lead the signing ceremony and accompanied by the Deputy Rector (Academic and Internationalisation), Prof. Dr. Ahmad Faris Bin Ismail. SLB delegation was led by Mr. Haitao Sun Digital Manager, SLB East Asia and Mr. Prasanna Kumar Tellapaneni, Production Business Development Manager, SLB East Asia.
