Malang: A group consisting of 4 students from Department of Chemical Engineering and Sustainability, Kulliyyah of Engineering have attended an international short course program that has been conducted by Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Universitas Brawijaya located in Malang, Indonesia. The program that had been held physically and virtually from 29th of April until 24th May 2024, was aimed for integration of agricultural technology, from conventional methods to AI-driven methods, parallel to the currently developing farming industry. This program also aimed to enhance the collaboration between multiple universities across South East Asia, as the participants of this short course were undergraduate students from Malaysia, Thailand, Taiwan, Philippines and from Indonesia as well. We gained a lot of new knowledge and experience when completing this short course, as we know the purpose of smart and sustainable farming methods, the development of nanotechnology and biotechnology, as well as understanding the potential benefits of artificial intelligence in the agriculture sector. We hope that we could use the new knowledge to improve the agriculture sector in our country, as well as helping the communities to achieve a better environment for the future generations.
