The Chemical Engineering and Sustainability Department received a visit from our External Assessor, Assoc. Prof. Ir. Dr. Norazwina Zainol for Bachelor of Chemical Engineering with Honours programme. This exercise is very important to ensure our curriculum contents satisfy the requirements for the programme and a good academic standard are maintained. The visit also is part of the requirements outlined by the Engineering Accreditation Council (EAC). The visit was conducted from 10th to 11th May 2023, which comprises of several activities which include discussion session with academic staff, interview with students and staff, laboratories and library visit.
On the second day of the visit, Dr Azwina gave a 3 hours workshop entitled “Complex Engineering Problem (CEP)” to the department academic staff. We had such a fruitful discussion on the topic and this session has tremendously improved our understanding on CEP.
All in all, we would like to extend our gratitude to Dr Azwina for spending her 2 days at our department and we really appreciate her valuable feedbacks and recommendations that will be used for the continual quality improvement (CQI) of this programme.
