As the head of the department, it is with a heavy heart but also immense gratitude that today I bid farewell to one of our esteemed colleagues, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Raha Ahmad Raus. For the past 23 years, Dr. Raha dedicated herself to this Department of Chemical Engineering and Sustainability, contributing her time, knowledge, and expertise to the growth and success of the department.
Her unwavering commitment to her work and her tireless efforts have left an indelible mark on our department. Her passion for teaching, mentoring, and research has inspired countless students. Through her dedication, she has played a pivotal role in shaping the minds of our future generations, instilling in them the love for learning and the pursuit of knowledge.
Her contributions have extended far beyond the classroom walls. She has been instrumental in the development and implementation of various academic initiatives, leaving a lasting impact on the overall academic landscape of our department. Her guidance and support have been invaluable to her colleagues, fostering a collaborative and nurturing environment that encourages growth and excellence.
