Day 1 (8th September, Monday)
The celebration began with a fun and interactive Kahoot game session conducted by Dr. Amana, held right after the CHES Departmental September Meeting. The session was filled with excitement and laughter as participants competed in answering questions related to the CHES programme, along with a few light-hearted trivia questions. The friendly competition brought out everyone’s playful side, creating a cheerful and lively atmosphere. In the end, three winners were announced and received special prizes for their quick thinking and sharp knowledge. It was a wonderful start to the CHES Family Day celebration!
Day 2 (9th September, Tuesday)
The second day kicked off with a morning hike at KL East Park, joined by 18 staff members, including lecturers and technical staff. Everyone gathered at the department meeting room at 8:00 a.m. for a light breakfast before heading to the hiking site. The hike began at 9:00 a.m. and lasted for about two hours, offering a refreshing break from daily routines. Surrounded by nature, participants enjoyed the beautiful scenery, took plenty of photos, and shared light moments filled with laughter and conversation. It was a great way to promote health, wellness, and team bonding in a relaxed outdoor setting.
Day 3 (10th September, Wednesday)
The third and final day was all about good food and great company! A total of 30 participants, including our Kulliyyah Dean, Dr. Khairul Azami Sidek, gathered for a Lunch Buffet at DoubleTree by Hilton Kuala Lumpur. The buffet was truly the highlight of the day, featuring an impressive spread of local and international cuisines that delighted everyone’s taste buds. The dessert table was especially popular, offering a tempting selection of cakes, puddings, and fresh fruits.
The atmosphere was warm and joyful as colleagues enjoyed good food, laughter, and engaging conversations. Many took the opportunity to relax, share stories, and celebrate the strong sense of togetherness that defines the CHES family.
Overall, CHES Family Day 2025 was a joyful and memorable event that brought everyone closer together. It reminded us of the importance of taking a break, enjoying good company, and celebrating our CHES family spirit. See you all again at CHES Family Day 2026, in shaa Allah! 🎉
