At the department’s booth, students participated in a range of interactive activities. The Product Showcases featured innovative student projects such as candles made from waste cooking oil, cellulose extracted from palm oil empty fruit bunches (EFB), and engine oil derived from plastic waste. In addition, quiz sessions with prizes were conducted to test students’ understanding and spark curiosity about chemical engineering concepts.

The event successfully inspired young minds to discover how chemical engineering contributes to sustainability and everyday life, fostering interest in science and engineering among the next generation.
