It is with immense pride and joy that we celebrate Prof. Dato\u2019 Dr. Ahmad Faris Ismail<\/strong> on being conferred the prestigious Darjah Indera Mahkota Pahang (D.I.M.P)<\/strong> award by the Tengku Mahkota of Pahang, Tengku Hassanal Ibrahim Alam Shah Al-Sultan Abdullah<\/strong>, in conjunction with the 65th birthday of the Sultan of Pahang<\/strong>. This esteemed recognition is a testament to his remarkable contributions to academia, engineering, and the nation.<\/p>\n\n

  • Currently serves as the Deputy Rector (Academic and Internationalisation)<\/strong> at the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  • Co-chairs the UNESCO Chair in Future Studies<\/strong>, focusing on sustainability and well-being.<\/li>\n
  • Served as the Dean of Kulliyyah of Engineering, IIUM<\/strong> from 1997 to 2009<\/strong> and again from 2019 to 2020<\/strong>, during which he implemented significant reforms, elevated academic standards, and expanded research capabilities, making IIUM\u2019s engineering programs internationally recognized.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n
