O<\/span>n 17th <\/sup>January 2024, a group of nine students from CHES Department accompanied by Dr. Wan Fazli ,went for on a educational visit to 3D Printing Lab in Department of Manufacturing and Materials at E0,Kulliyah of Engineering, IIUM. This visit is part of class engagement activities (CHEN 1311 Material Science for Chemical Engineers) aimed to introduce a new 3D Printer and the technology itself . Upon our arrival, Br. Talhah and Br. Our curiosity led us to ask about the machine functionality and its capability to create some functional products. Br. Mohamad Nor Hafiz , a postgraduate student explained about the capability of this newly arrived machine and showcased some interesting product including, a 3D printed copper gear. Beyond the exposure to 3D printing, our visit to the lab transcended mere educational engagement, igniting a newfound interest in the field of manufacturing.
