The visit stemmed from connections made during the recent 1st ANSYS Academic Conference in Kuala Lumpur, where Dr. Suazlan, Dr. Sa\u2019adah and Dr. Syazwani engaged with UTP representatives on the integration of simulation into teaching and learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">&#x1f4a1; The visit centered on <strong>Ir. Ts. Dr. Suazlan bin Mt Aznam<\/strong>, who presented his team&#8217;s <strong>simulation-driven curriculum innovation<\/strong>, particularly in foundational engineering courses. His approach\u2014embedding ANSYS into the teaching of heat and mass transfer and fluid mechanics have become a model for transforming passive learning into interactive, industry-aligned education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">&#x1f9ea; The session also featured shared experiences from fellow AMSERU members actively applying ANSYS in their respective courses:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Dr. Sa\u2019adah<\/strong>, who integrates ANSYS Fluent in teaching <strong>Fluid Mechanics<\/strong>, enabling students to visualize flow patterns and velocity fields.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Dr. Ahmad Zahirani<\/strong>, who uses simulation for <strong>cantilever beam analysis<\/strong> to support understanding of mechanical stress and deformation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Dr. Syazwani<\/strong>, who applies ANSYS in conducting <strong>static structural stress tests<\/strong>, linking simulation to 3D printing and failure analysis.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">&#x1f91d; As AMSERU Coordinator, <strong>Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Noor Azlina Hassan<\/strong> presented ongoing AMSERU initiatives and opened the floor for <strong>future collaboration in teaching, benchmarking, and simulation-based research<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">&#x1f4cc; The fruitful visit included:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Overview of ANSYS Curriculum Integration<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Course-level Demonstrations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dialogue on Benchmarking &amp; Collaboration<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Q&amp;A and Institutional Sharing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">&#x1f64f; <strong>We extend our heartfelt thanks to the UTP delegation<\/strong> to AP Ir. Ts. Dr. Masdi Muhammad, AP Dr. Saravanan, Dr. Hilmi Hussin, AP Dr. Mohammad Shakir, Dr. Tamiru, Dr. Tuan Mohammad Yusoff Shah, and AP Dr. Hamdan Ya\u2014for their visit, thoughtful engagement, and meaningful discussions.
