Dr. Norhuda Hidayah Nordin<\/strong>, one of the proud AMSERU members. This presentation was delivered <strong>upon invitation from the Applied Mechanics Engineering Department, Engineering Technical College, Middle Technical University, Baghdad, Iraq.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">In this session, Dr. Norhuda explored the exciting world of <strong>High Entropy Alloys (HEAs)<\/strong>\u2014a transformative class of materials engineered through the near-equiatomic mixing of five or more elements. HEAs are pushing the boundaries of materials science due to their exceptional:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Mechanical strength and toughness<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Corrosion and oxidation resistance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>High-temperature stability<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">The presentation delved into the <strong>fundamental properties<\/strong>, <strong>latest research trends<\/strong>, and <strong>emerging applications<\/strong> of HEAs in sectors such as aerospace, biomedical, and energy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">&#x1f393; Inspiring the Next Generation of Materials Engineers<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">This research sharing reflects IIUM\u2019s commitment to excellence in engineering education.
