At AMSERU, our commitment to fostering STEM education among young learners<\/strong> continues to grow stronger year after year. Over the past two years, AMSERU successfully conducted a series of educational programs<\/strong> aimed at empowering students from Setapak Vocational College, Kuala Lumpur<\/strong>, with real-world knowledge and hands-on experience in materials science<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

📅 Program 1: Materials Science Short Course & Materials Laboratory Course on Tensile and Hardness 1.0<\/strong>
Date:<\/strong> 7 March 2023 (Short Course) & 27-28 March 2023 (Lab Course)
Venue:<\/strong> Banquet Room (E1) & Materials Testing Laboratory (E0), Kulliyyah of Engineering, IIUM

💡 Highlights:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1) Introduction to fundamental theories of materials science<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

2) Hands-on training with materials characterization and testing equipment<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

3) Delivered by AMSERU experts: Dr. Ahmad Zahirani Ahmad Azhar, Dr. Norshahida Sarifuddin, Dr. Noorasikin Samat, Dr. Hafizah Hanim Mohd Zaki, and Dr. Farah Diana Mohd Daud.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

📅 Program 2: Materials Science Laboratory Course on Tensile and Hardness 2.0<\/strong>
Date:<\/strong> 14-15 March 2024
Venue:<\/strong> Materials Testing Laboratory (E0), Kulliyyah of Engineering, IIUM

💡 Highlights:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1) Participation of 77 students<\/strong> from Setapak Vocational College<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2) Advanced materials testing and characterization<\/strong> experience<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3) Conducted by AMSERU\u2019s dedicated trainers: Dr. Norshahida Sarifuddin, Dr. Noorasikin Samat, Dr. Hafizah Hanim Mohd Zaki, and Dr. Farah Diana Mohd Daud.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

✨ Both programs, a collaborative effort between AMSERU and the Lean Development & Sustainability Office (LeaDS), embody our vision to ignite curiosity and inspire future scientists and engineers.<\/strong> By bridging classroom learning with practical exposure, we hope to cultivate a lifelong passion for science and technology<\/strong> among these young learners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
