Dr. Zuraida Binti Ahmad<\/strong> and Prof. Dr. Nurul Fadzlin Bt Hasbullah, both from the Kulliyyah of Engineering, IIUM, participated in the <strong>T\u00dcB\u0130TAK Science Fellowship and Grant Programmes Directorate<\/strong> mobility program. The visit aimed at fostering strong international collaborations in research and academia, particularly in the fields of advanced materials, semiconductor electronics, and engineering education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-black-color has-text-color\"><strong>Highlights of the Program:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">&#x1f539; <strong>Research Collaborations:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">1) Engaged in advanced materials research at Kardinez Technical University (KTU), Trabzon, with a focus on thin-film deposition, semiconductor electronics, and nanotechnology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">2) Visited METAM Central Research Laboratory, exploring collaborative projects on advanced materials for solar cells, energy storage, and industrial applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>&#x1f539; <strong>Academic Networking &amp; Institutional Partnerships<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">1) Met with Rectors and faculty members from <strong>KTU and GIBTU<\/strong> to initiate collaborations, including a proposed <strong>Training of Trainers (ToT)<\/strong> program aimed at integrating Islamic perspectives in engineering education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">2) Discussed potential joint research initiatives, exchange programs, and grant opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-black-color has-text-color\"><strong>Key Outcomes:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">&#x2705; MoUs between IIUM and both Turkish institutions are in progress. &#x2705; Potential collaborative research projects and joint grants applications identified. &#x2705; Plans for training programs on Islamisation of Engineering Education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">This engagement strengthens AMSERU\u2019s mission in internationalizing research and innovation, paving the way for holistic advancements in materials science and engineering education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"770\" src=\"https:\/\/engine.iium.edu.my\/amseru\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/photo-kak-zu-1-1024x770.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2191\" srcset=\"https:\/\/engine.iium.edu.my\/amseru\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/photo-kak-zu-1-1024x770.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/engine.iium.edu.my\/amseru\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/photo-kak-zu-1-300x226.jpg 300w, https:\/\/engine.iium.edu.my\/amseru\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/photo-kak-zu-1-768x577.jpg 768w, https:\/\/engine.iium.edu.my\/amseru\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/photo-kak-zu-1-1536x1155.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/engine.iium.edu.my\/amseru\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/photo-kak-zu-1-1437x1080.jpg 1437w, https:\/\/engine.iium.edu.my\/amseru\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/photo-kak-zu-1.jpg 1595w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Meeting with the Rector of  Gaziantep Islam Science and Technology University (GIBTU).
